PADI ReActivate
PADI ReActivate
“Refresh your diving knowledge and skills after a period of inactivity.” This long-held PADI principle is found throughout PADI programs and materials, reminding divers of this responsibility and its relevance to their diving safety and enjoyment. A recent PADI survey asked divers what would get them back in the water if they had not been diving for a while. Two popular responses were: “a refresher course that I can complete quickly” and “a prescriptive approach that refreshes only what I’ve forgotten.”
With this in mind, and with modern tools and approaches to assist, PADI’s new ReActivate program offers certified divers a convenient, prescriptive, and enjoyable way to brush up basic diving knowledge and skills, and their confidence in getting back into the water. Because it’s prescriptive, a diver progresses at a personal pace, and you provide only as much guidance and coaching as the diver needs. ReActivate is a modern, more intuitive means to refresh diver knowledge and skills, replacing PADI Scuba Review.
